Physimetrics is located in Roswell Georgia which is about 30 miles north of downtown Atlanta.

Can I place an order with a company Purchase Order?
Yes, please contact us and we will assist you. We will also have to get a hard copy of the PO which can be mailed, faxed or emailed.
Are all products listed in stock and available for immediate shipping?
Most of the items listed on the site are in stock and available for immeditate shipping. Many items are not in stock and ship within a week or two of placing the order. Some items are "long lead time" items and may require several weeks or months to ship. If this is the case, a salesperson will contact you so that you can decide to either continue the order or cancel it.
Does Physimetrics offer Net terms?
Yes, but this is reserved for regular repeat customers. It also requires an extensive and comprehensive credit check. If you are interested in establishing Net terms, please contact a sales person or the accounting manager to discuss setting up an acount.
Can I purchase an items and return it if it doesn't meet my requiremets?
Machine vision components are parts to a very complex system. In most cases determining if a part, such as a camera or frame grabber, is right for the system can be determined by reviewing the data sheet specifications. If there is still doubt, we recommend calling and speaking to one of our highly trained sales staff to discuss the products capabilities. In many cases, this is still not enough and a customer may require evaluating a product before they purchase it. In these cases, Physimetrics will coordinate an evaluation order. Contact us for more information. Over the phone, we will accept a credit card, and allow a two week evaluation period. The customer must also sign an "Evaluation Agreement" and undergo an extensive credit check. The product shipped might be an open box demo unit or it might be a new, unused item. If it is new, then the expectation will be that the customer will keep the item after evaluation. If the product does not meet the customer's requirements, then the item may be returned at no charge. This evaluation policy does not apply to all the items listed on the Physimetrics website. Please check with a sales person to see if evaluating an item is an option.
Can I place an order without paying sales tax?
Yes, if your company is tax exempt, please provide your tax exempt ID number when submitting your purchase order. We will also need you to send us a copy, via email or fax or US Postal, of your Sales and Use Tax Certificate for our records. Since we are located in the state of Georgia, then we are required to collect and forward sales tax for any sale completed in the state of Georgia. If you are outside the state of Georgia, then we do not collect and forward sales tax.
Do you sell to International customers?
Yes, but we will have to accept the order and payment over the phone. All international orders are prepaid, via wire transfer (prefered) or credit card. If you require a particular freight forwarder, you must contact a sales person to coordinate this, otherwise we will use Federal Express or UPS.
What is your policy on returned opened products?
An item can be returned up to 30 days from the date of delivery, unless specified in the description as final sale. A 30% restocking fee will be deducted from the original cost of the purchase. If an item is in non-working condition when you receive it, please contact us for technical support and/or help with a return or exchange. Return Shipping fees will be the responsibility of the party returning the item, unless the item was defective when you received it. Any product you return must be in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging.
If you are uncertain if an item is right for you, please speak to a sales person since they can determine if the product will meet your needs. You may also consider an evaluation of a product before purchasing. Why has the price changed since the last time a I viewed a product?
Prices are determined by our suppliers and if they change their prices to us, we change our prices to our customers. The prices will change immediately on the website. If you received a price quote from a sales person, then that price will be honored for 30 days from the date of the quote.
Why do some items not list a price?
Some of our suppliers do not publish a retail price and prefer that we not advertise a pubic retail price. In these situations please contact us for a price quote. 770-642-6858
Are there items missing for the website?
Yes, we are still adding content to the site. Everyday we add new content and improve the existing content. It will be several months before we have added all of our products. We went live on this site because our other site suffered some serious problems. We felt it was better to have a working website with a few products than a failed website with all of our products. Thanks for your patience while we continue to build and improve this website.
