IDS U3-38J0XCP-M-GL Ueye+ **See Important Note Below**

The supplier of the imaging sensors built into the affected IDS cameras, Sony, has discontinued the production of the imaging sensor IMX415AAMR-C. Besides the manufacturer's end-of-life announcement for the IMX415 (Mono), IDS has made the strategic decision to focus on newer sensor platforms. As a result, all models based on the IMX415 (Mono and color) will be discontinued and removed from the portfolio. IDS has to announce the discontinuation of the camera models listed below. 

Please note that cameras based on the IMX415 (Mono) sensor may become unavailable before the end-of-sale date due to limited component availability. Orders will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-serve basis. As an alternative, camera models based on the IMX415 (Color) sensor remain available and can be ordered until the end-of-sale date.  If you have any questions regarding last‑time buys or alternative models, please contact our sales team.

The practical U3-38J0XCP industrial camera with Sony's IMX415 rolling shutter sensor is particularly suitable for visualisation tasks thanks to its 4K resolution (8.41 MPix, 3864 x 2176 px px, 24.8 fps) and a pixel size of 1.45 µm. With the 2x2 binning feature, it is possible to reduce the amount of data to be transmitted by a factor of four if required, thereby increasing both the light sensitivity and the frame rate. Measuring just 29 x 29 x 17 mm (W/H/L), the USB3 camera is available in both colour and monochrome versions and delivers high-resolution data for detailed image analysis. With its practical full metal housing, low weight and screwable USB3 Micro-B connector, the camera can be used in a variety of ways in both industrial and non-industrial settings.

Like all other camera models of the uEye XCP family, the U3-38J0XCP is GenICam-compliant and thus compatible with our state-of-the-art SDK IDS peak software.

This model is with filter glass (monochrome sensor, matchcode component "-NO" for without glass filter), make sure that no dust or other particles get onto the sensor during set-up and use, see link below.
